times to provide peace and security to all residents and visitors to
Goochland County. We will fairly and impartially enforce all laws of the
United States, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the ordinances of Goochland
County over which we have jurisdiction. We will assist and aid other law
enforcement agencies in areas of mutual interest, and we will assist other
emergency service agencies to protect the lives and property of our citizens

will remain helpful and courteous. Whether by telephone or in person, we will
attempt to assist people by taking appropriate action, or by giving referrals
to the proper authorities or agencies. We will treat all people with respect
without regard to race, sex, creed, or religion.
